God is on His throne
- The storms raged but Jesus slept on a pillow in the boat…(Mark 4:38)
- The enemy raged but God prepares a feasting table in the presence of the enemy…(Ps 23:5)
- The Kings of the world raged and took counsel against his anointed but God in heaven laughs…(Ps 2:1-4)
- The Devil raged and killed Jesus on a cross and buried him in a grave but God rose him on the third day and gave him the keys to heaven and hell…(Mark 8:31)
Sometimes we think the devil is winning when things don’t go the way we think it should go. We hear about the hundreds of innocent christians being killed by the Hindu radicals in Orrisa.
Blood is flowing like water. Why do these things happen? Is God in control?
God is in control even when we don’t understand what is going on? He promised never to leave us nor forsake us.
Romans 8:35 – 36 says
35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
36 As it is written:
” For Your sake we are killed all day long;
We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”
37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come,
39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Nothing can separate us from the Love of God. God is on His throne. Jesus is King.
We will have our fellowship at out house this sunday as usual at 5:15 pm. We are praying for all of you.
Please watch this testimony and be blessed.
